Executive Committee
The Executive Committee shall:
i. Act as a steering committee for the full board.
ii. Facilitate decision-making between board meetings or in urgent and crisis circumstances.
iii. Have the power to act on behalf of the full board and is a steering committee for the board.
iv. Prioritize issues for the full board to address, is responsible for overseeing board policies, and must ensure good governance practices.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee Shall:
i. The Finance Committee shall i. Be familiar with, approve, and review periodically the organization's annual budget.
ii. Work under the direction of the Treasurer to develop and recommend an annual budget to the Board of Directors by November 1 for approval by the Board of Directors by December 31.
iii. oversees the Corporation’s monetary position to ensure sustainability and enforce ethical standards.
iv. creates and reviews financial policies to keep the Corporation solvent and growing including fundraising activities.
